GeoGirls was founded as a way for a mother and her two daughters to have some fun painting and hiding rocks for others to find. The Geo in GeoGirls has a two-part meaning. First, it has to do with geodes, which let’s face it, are awesome rocks! Who doesn’t love rocks with beautiful crystals inside? Sparkly rocks? Yes, please! The second meaning to Geo is in memory of George, who was the husband of LKH and the father of RMH and REB. George had so many hobbies, ranging from collecting stamps, coins, and bugs to writing his own poetry. We think he would like this little hobby of ours and would get a kick out of seeing how happy people are when they find our treasures! We like to dedicate certain rocks to George that remind us of him, especially his love for fishing and the St. Louis Cardinals. We have so much fun creating these rocks and hiding them for you to find! Please help us out by scanning and rehiding a rock when you find it and continuing the fun!
